Our 8th Anniversary!

Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary! My how time flies! Because of work, school and busyness of our day today, we decided to go out this past Saturday to dinner. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse - which neither one of us have been to before - and ate entirely WAY too much! It was fabulous! After dinner, we shopped around the Bass Pro Shop (Dave's favorite place) and a few other stores. After walking off a little bit of dinner we ended our nice evening away from the kids at ColdStone Ice Cream! Yummy!!! It's amazing how fast 8 years has gone by. It just seems like yesterday we celebrated our 1st anniversary!

What a great Earth Day!

Today, Ian and Luke got a bug box. You would have thought it was Christmas the way they acted over this $2 item! They spent most of this beautiful 77 degree day in one spot on the driveway trying to catch ants and bugs. It was great to see them playing together and being quiet! I, likewise, enjoyed the warm day and lounged a little on the deck watching the boys play and reading! (And for some of you that will come as a shock, because I don't like to read!)

AMY'S NEW CAMERA!!!!

Oh, yes... it is SO very true! I finally have moved to the digital era in photography!!!! I know, I know... It took a LONG time to convince me that I could still take great pictures with a digital! hahaha What was I thinking! After the last year borrowing my parents digital camera and taking many portraits and different pictures, I decided that it was time to stop mooching off of them and get my own! Thanks to that nice tax break, I found a great 4 month old camera on EBAY and won the bid for this great camera! I'm excited to get to use all the functions of the camera to take, hopefully, even better pictures than I already take. (If I may be so prideful!) From now on, no one will have to wait a month to see what pictures I've taken! I love my camera!!!

Time Out for Women 2008

Better late than never, but I was able to attend and LDS event called Time Out for Women on Feb. 29th and Mar. 1st. It was a great experience for me and a MUCH needed time away from everyday life! I had a lot of time to be with women and feel the spirit of the event through music and speakers. It was very uplifting for me and I enjoyed every minute of it! It was in Chicago and we we able to stay overnight in a wonderful hotel! It was fun to stay up with the gals and chit-chat about life and everything else. I really had a great time!
