Easter Fun!

The Friday before Easter, the boys and I visited our friends house and colored eggs with some of the kids! It was stressful (for me) but fun for the boys! After they colored eggs they did a little egg hunt in their apartment, since it snowed that morning!!!
On Easter Sunday, we went to Grandma Beeler's house for lunch and a 'competitive hunt' in their basement. It was cold, but sunny, so we got a picture of all the little cousins together. It was a great day!

Moving Up...

Since baby boy #3 will be here in less than 4 months, we decided it was time to get Luke out of his crib! The only way we could do that and still make it sqeeze, was to get the boys bunk beds and put them in the same room. We found a great deal on ebay and are excited to see the boys as they enjoy their room together now. It has only been 2 nights so far, and they really seem to sleep well. Luke did however fall out last night, but I don't think he wants to do that again! Ian loves sleeping on the top bunk and Luke enjoys being by Ian at night. So, now we have room for the baby, and the boys are happy!

Potty Time!!! March 10, 2008

Luke is on his way of being a big boy! In Late February, Luke FINALLY sat on the potty and saw himself pee for the first time! It was a spectacular event for him and he was so excited! Since then we have tried to just encourage and remind him if he needs to go potty. Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't, but he is pretty much training himself! YEAH for Luke! He finally went #2 in the potty last week for Dave and was really excited about that too. He's wearing pull-ups now, and in a few more weeks we'll get him into training underwear. I'm glad this is happening now, cause I don't really want to buy 2 sets of diapers when the baby comes!
